Host Discovery respects the privacy of all their Customers and Website Visitors. This Privacy Policy has been designed to inform Host Discovery Customers and Website Visitors about the type of personal information we collect, how this personal information is used, and how this personal information may be disclosed.
What Personal Information does Host Discovery collect and store?

In addition, Host Discovery may store customer's electronic mail and other communications sent to Host Discovery servers as a necessary incident to the transmission and delivery of those communications.
What Personal Information will NEVER be collected by Host Discovery?
Host Discovery will never request or collect Customer payment details, this information includes, but is not limited to, credit/debit card numbers and/or checking account information, directly. These payment details are handled and stored securely through our Authorized Retailer, PayPal (http://www.PayPal.com).
Service passwords will NEVER be collected or stored in an unencrypted manner and will NEVER be requested from any Host Discovery employee. Always keep your passwords safe, secure and secret!
What Personal Information is collected while visiting the Host Discovery Website?
Certain areas of the Host Discovery website may use cookies (small pieces of data that are stored by a visitor's web browser on the visitor's hard drive), such as the Community Forums (http://forums.hostdiscovery.net) or the Support Center (https://secure.hostdiscovery.net), in order to remember Visitor information the next time the website area is browsed. Cookies are maintained by the Visitor, and as such, can be disabled by the Visitor.
Host Discovery may also collect information regarding the Visitors stay at the Host Discovery website. This information includes, but is not limited to, the IP address that has visited the website, the date and time each visit took place, and the website visited before reaching the Host Discovery website.
How does Host Discovery use the Personal Information collected and how can this information be updated?
Host Discovery will use the Personal Information collected in order to establish and maintain Service, for billing communications and support communications. This information can be updated by logging in to the Support Center (https://secure.hostdiscovery.net).
Contact information provided through the assigned Account Control Panel will be used to notify Customer via electronic mail of any server maintenance and/or network maintenance due to be performed, current developments within Host Discovery and any special offers we think our Customer may find useful. To manage these electronic mailings, Customer may remove/update contact information from within the assigned Account Control Panel at any time.
What about privacy on websites that Host Discovery links to?
Host Discovery may provide links to its partners and other Internet websites. These websites have separate data and privacy practices independent of Host Discovery, and as such, Host Discovery disclaims any responsibility or liability for their policies and/or actions.
Disclosure of Personal Information and Communications
Customers who provide Host Discovery with a "Service Review" will have an option of selecting either the First Name or Domain Name to have displayed along side the review on the Host Discovery website (http://www.hostdiscovery.net) or Community Forums (http://forums.hostdiscovery.net). Customer may request to have the "Service Review" modified or removed at any time by sending a written request to reviews@hostdiscovery.net.
Host Discovery will not otherwise disclose its Customers personal and account information unless Host Discovery has reason to believe that disclosing such information is necessary to identify, make contact with, or bring legal action against someone who may be causing harm or interfering with the rights or property of Host Discovery, Host Discovery's Customers, third parties, or where Host Discovery has a good faith belief that the law requires such disclosure.
Host Discovery will not, except for reasons stated below, disclose to third parties the contents of any electronic mail or other electronic communications that Host Discovery stores or transmits for its Customers. The circumstances under which Host Discovery will disclose such electronic Customer Communications are when:
it is necessary in order to provide service to the Customer;
it is necessary to protect the legitimate interests of Host Discovery and its customers;
it is required to cooperate with interception orders, warrants, or other legal process that Host Discovery determines in its sole discretion to be valid and enforceable; and
it is necessary to provide to a law enforcement agency when the contents are inadvertently obtained by Host Discovery and appear to pertain to the commission of a crime.
Host Discovery disclaims any intention to censor, edit or engage in ongoing review or surveillance of communications stored on or transmitted through its facilities by Customer or third parties. Host Discovery will, however; review, delete or block access to communications that may harm Host Discovery, its Customers or third parties. The grounds on which Host Discovery may take such action include, but are not limited to, actual or potential violations of the Host Discovery:

Customers and Website Visitors who include their Personal Information in their post signatures or profiles at the Host Discovery Community Forums (http://forums.hostdiscovery.net) do so at their own risk.
This Privacy Policy may be revised, in part or in full, at any time by Host Discovery. Continued use of the Services provided by Host Discovery after such changes have been made will constitute acceptance of any revisions made to this Privacy Policy.
